The Mayborn Museum in Waco, Tx, museum so far, it's a great museum for kids and family. It is a museum with a second floor unfortunately I only saw the first floor. This gives me something to look forward to next time I'm in Waco. The museum is across the street from Baylor University. While there the kids saw mammoth bones unexcavated as well as a giant sea turtle fossil. Over the announcements we heard that Waco has the largest group of mammoth fossils discovered in one place. We continue walking checking out the roaming exhibit that showcases different cultures and religions. We then visited the area that is hands on for small children. Where my girls climbed in a beehive structure and learned about the movement of water.
There is a baby changing table in the main restroom as well as a family restroom.
There was a ramp to enter, and the floor didn't have a significant lift and rise as we were walking with our stroller.
I saw a elevator to take you up to the second floor. ( I did't use it we were only on the first floor this time.)
