Let me tell you about my experience on my Disney Cruise in October. It was great. The boarding was quick and then we did our muster drill (life vest and safety drill). Then we were off on the cruise. We went to our room and checked it out spoke with our room attendant. We talked about the bed situation since there are 5 of us where to place the bed and where to place the pack and play. I was pleasantly surprised to find a diaper genie in our room. That Diaper Genie was a blessing with a 1-year-old in diapers. We visited the kids' club to see where our girls would be if they needed just some kid time. They played video games there and did crafts. We toured the nursery and talked with the staff to see what the ratio was for toddler: staff. They said that they have more staff to toddler at any given time. The nursery attendants and the kid club attendants were knowledgeable and willing to answer any and all of our questions. We didn't use the nursery on this cruise but considered it for next time. The kids club take security of our children very seriously with secret passwords and wristbands. We went to the Marceline Market for our buffet lunch where an attendant directs you to wash your hands before you dine. We returned to our room to have some family time and relax. This is just the first few hours on our ship. I have to tell you more on our experiences over the next few blogs.
